What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing emails and basic correspondence

Boilermaker

Boilermaker / Skilled Welder – Stainless, Aluminium, Structural

Location: Loira, TAS (Workshop) & Various Sites across Northern Tasmania

Employment Type: Start Casual → Full-Time After Probation

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (Overtime Available)

We are looking for a versatile Welder/Fabricator (MIG & TIG) who takes pride in clean, high-standard work. You’ll work on a wide range of jobs—from food-grade sanitary pipework to structural fabrication—both in the workshop and on-site.

We’re Fullston Contracting, a team that values craftsmanship, growth, and reliability. Whether you’re TIG welding stainless pipework or fabricating structural frames, you’ll enjoy a varied workload, great team culture, and opportunities to develop your skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welds
  • Work with stainless steel (including food-grade sanitary welding), aluminium, and structural steel
  • Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts from drawings or without them if needed
  • Ensure all work meets specifications and industry standards
  • Finish welds to a high standard, including passivation for food-grade jobs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful workspace

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Trade Qualified: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication.

  • Technical Skill: Strong TIG/MIG experience (Stainless, Aluminium and Structural).

  • Precision: Ability to read technical drawings and deliver high quality welds.

  • Reliability: A current driver’s license, your own transport and a team-first attitude.

  • Mindset: A problem-solver who can work safely under pressure to meet deadlines.

 What You’ll Get

  • Stability: Full-time opportunity with a minimum Mon–Fri (8am–4pm) schedule.

  • Competitive Pay: Strong hourly rate based on experience + Overtime & Shutdowns.
