Will the Under-Tray Water Tank fit my ute?
The tank is designed to fit most ute trays behind the back wheel arch at 700mm W x 300mm H x 200mm D. If you're not sure about your specific tray, send us a message or give us a call before ordering and we'll talk through clearance and mounting points.
Can I drink the water from it?
The tank itself is fabricated from food-grade 304 stainless steel, the same material used in the dairy and food industry. Whether the water inside is suitable for drinking depends on your water source and how the tank is maintained, so we'd suggest treating it like any other onboard water tank.
Driver side or passenger side?
Both. Tell us which side suits your setup when you order and we'll fabricate it accordingly, including the placement of the tap and water inlet.
Is it hard to install?
Most people have it bolted in within an afternoon. We supply the mounting bolts and a step-by-step installation guide. If you'd rather we fit it for you in our workshop, we can arrange that too.
How does shipping work?
Delivery is free right across Tasmania. For mainland Australia we ship from our Tasmanian workshop, so please call us first on 0467 579 794 so we can confirm freight to your postcode before you place the order.
Why stainless instead of plastic?
Plastic tanks shed microplastics into your water, can split with UV exposure, and wear out faster. 304 stainless is microplastic free, won't crack, won't taint the water, and will outlast the ute it's bolted to.
